What is Rotary/Flatbed Screen Printing
Rotary screen printing and flatbed screen printing are two widely used methods in the textile industry for transferring designs onto fabrics. Both methods use a screen (stencil) to apply dyes or pigments through a mesh onto the fabric, creating vibrant patterns and designs.
Working of Rotary/Flatbed Screen Printing
In Rotary Screen Printing, a cylindrical screens that rotate as fabric moves continuously through the machine. Each screen applies a specific color, and the process is ideal for high-speed, large-scale production of continuous patterns. In Flatbed Screen Printing, flat screens are used, and the fabric is placed under them. A squeegee pushes dye through the screen, one color at a time. It is better suited for smaller production runs and intricate designs.
